This is marvelous! Careening between memory, imagination, history and the world at hand, you capture how we all live. There are so many smart moments in this and I hate to highlight things because the colored boxes are distracting so I’m glad I’m the first to read this wonderful excerpt from the novel that you’ll eventually write.
